FIRE EXTINGUISHER

AQUEOUS FILM FORMING FOAM FIRE EXTINGUISHER

AFFF fire extinguishers are useful for Class A & Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as paints, solvents and fats like grease and oils. These foam extinguishers kill fire by cutting of the supply of atmospheric oxygen into the burning surface and thus cooling it down.

HCFC FIRE EXTINGUISHER (HYDROCLOROFLOUROCARBONS)

HCFC 123 extinguishers have been
designed to protect areas containing
Class A (solid fuels), Class B (liquids
and gaseous fuels), as well as Class C
(energized electrical equipment).

DRY CHEMICAL
FIRE EXTINGUISHER

Dry Chemical fire extinguishers extinguish the fire primarily by interrupting chemical reaction of the triangle.

Today’s most widely used type of fire extinguisher is the multipurpose dry chemical that is effective on Class A, B, and C fires. This agent also works by creating a barrier between the oxygen element and the fuel element on Class A fires.

CARBON DIOXIDE FIRE EXTINGUISHER

A colorless, tasteless, odorless element that as a diatomic gas is relatively inert and constitutes 78 percent of the atmosphere and that is a constituent of organic compounds found in all living tissues.
Can be used on Class B and C Fires: Class B Fires: in flammable liquids such as gasoline, petroleum oil, paint and liquified petroleum gas. Class C Fires, involving energized electrical equipment such as motors, transformers and appliances.
